Murder Mystery Dinner Party:

JAZZ AGE JEOPARDY

SIGN UP HERE

Friday, November 6th | 7:15pm | Southside Parlor

Felix Fontano cordially invites you to an evening of food, drinks, merriment, and... MURDER!

Get in the Van Productions is back with another Murder Mystery Dinner event at Southside Parlor! 100% of the proceeds from this event are going toward funding our classes and workshops during our current  Theatre Education Series. As a nonprofit organization, we depend on donations and fundraisers like these to make our programs happen so thank you for your interest!

At this event, attendees will take on the role of a specific character at a dinner party set in The Cat’s Meow, the fictional jazz club owned by a successful businessman Felix Fontano, son of a bootlegger and crime boss Frank Fontano. While roleplaying as your character, you will be expected to mingle with other guests to gather clues about an unexpected murder in order to find the culprit before the authorities arrive in the morning. No one knows who the murderer is--it could even be you!

Each character is inspired by 1920s New York City culture and concepts (think The Great Gatsby or Godfather II) and as an attendee, you'll receive a character sheet with your individual character's backstory and details in advance. This will allow you to mentally prepare to get into character for the evening, but don't worry: it isn't like a script to memorize or anything! This is a casual, easy-to-approach event if you're open to having fun and being in the moment.

Join us for this exhilarating whodunit and become part of the mystery!
